Alias: Various, notably Jareth the Goblin King, Hoggle the dwarf, the worm, Ludo the Minotaur, the Fireys, Sir Didymus the fox

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized area/Forest

Summary: Earlier, legendary puppeteer Jim Henson helped give us "The Dark Crystal", a rather dark foray into fantasy that we nonetheless treasure. Now, he's back with not only another cast of quirky characters, but the glam rock star David Bowie as the villain.

History: The ruler of the Goblins, Jareth was in the mood to take away a girl's little brother and turn him into a Goblin himself. He gave her a specified amount of time to solve the maze that led to his castle, and along the way, she met folks like the conflicted Hoggle, pesky head-craving Fireys, the lovable giant Ludo, and the brave Sir Didymus.

Notable Kills: None.

Final Fate: Eventually, the ones the girl can trust help her get to Jareth. After she overcomes him with her bravery (and reciting some lines she forgot for a play), he willfully gives the baby back and even allows her new friends to come over to the real world for a celebration.

Powers/Abilities: Jareth has endless magic at his fingertips, and prefers to shapeshift into an owl in the real world. The Fireys can remove their parts without any problem, mostly for irritating musical numbers.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-While the puppets can look a bit unnerving at times (Hoggle and the Fireys come to mind), most of the creatures encountered have a sense of cuteness and wonder to them, especially Ludo. Jareth is a bit creepy, but he makes up for it by being one hell of a singer. What did you expect?

Trivia: -According to extended media, Jareth actually doesn't like his position as Goblin king, and would give anything to live amongst the humans. According to David Bowie, he'd like to live somewhere in Soho, London.

-Other singers considered to play as Jareth included Sting, Prince, Mike Jagger, and even Michael Jackson.

Jim Henson, you did it again.

Not every good guy needs to look totally human. Then again, could have added a few more spikes.
Seriously, David. How did you do that hair?

Extinction event for you. Please.

A sentient dog. Isn't this just awkward?

Should we call the FBI now?
It's not called a Labrynth for nothing.

God bless us all!
